Repair Process, Charges and No Fix, No Fee

Describe the device, model, symptoms, recent damage or changes and whether important files need protecting. Workshop visits are by appointment.

2. Choose workshop or call-out

Portable devices are normally easiest to test at the Small Heath workshop. Call-outs are available across Birmingham where appropriate. The call-out charge depends on postcode and travel distance and is confirmed before booking.

3. Diagnosis and quote

General diagnosis is free even if the customer decides not to proceed. Specialist data-recovery assessment or recovery can have separate charges, explained in advance. No chargeable repair begins without approval.

4. Repair, testing and return

Approved repairs are completed and tested against the original fault. One to three working days is the normal guide. Same-day work may be available for selected faults when the correct part and workload allow.

No Fix, No Fee conditions

No Fix, No Fee applies to repair labour. It does not cancel an agreed call-out charge. Approved or specially ordered parts may remain payable, and specialist data-recovery work may carry separate assessment or recovery charges.

Warranty

Repair workmanship is covered for 30 days. Warranty on replacement parts depends on the relevant part, supplier or manufacturer.
